Accountabilities

  • Partner withglobal therapeutic area(TA)medical teams to develop medicalstrategiesandKPIsthatdemonstratemedicalvalue andimpact

  • Drive datacollection, analysis and reporting to monitor ongoing medicalstrategic alignment,performanceand impact;overlay and leverage key data sets todemonstratecause and effect

  • Ensure on-time, qualityanalysisanddataformedical performance reviews;leverageTA/brandstrategicknowledgeandinsighttoguide recommendations and decision-making, supporting and challenging where appropriate

  • Leverexpertiseto driveprogramsthat inform medical performance in partnership with TAsand other stakeholders 

  • Collate and react to evolving data needs and stakeholder feedback and requirements; leverexpertiseto delivercreativesolutions to meet growing needs of the business

  • Develop performance related communications in partnership with medical leadership to ensure full awareness of medical performance expectations

  • Influence the design of medical platforms that capture medical activity and impact 

  • Driveconsistentutilizationof global medical dashboards across global, regional, and local medical teams;identifyimprovement opportunitiesbased on stakeholder input

  • Collate insights from various sources including field medical teams that can beleveragedto inform and influence global, regional, and local strategy 

  • Keep abreast of external medical performance landscape and emerging needs; provide counsel,expertise, and influence to ensure that AZ Medical teams are consistentlyrecognizedas differentiated and valued partners by our customers 

  • Fosteran aligned, performance-driven and engaged field medical leader community 

  • Adopt a collaborative, cross functional working culture to ensure a data and performance led mindset across the brands andTAs

Skills and Experiences

  • Ability to digest and appraise multiple data sets/performance measures toidentifythemes and trends

  • Highly organized and technically capable; able to navigate data and digital platforms

  • Robust understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and medical affairs, including field medical teams 

  • Degree in health sciences or biomedical engineering preferred

  • Knowledge ofRespiratory, Immunology, Cardiovascular, Renal, and/or Metabolic therapeutic area(s)preferred

  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal

  • Ability towork effectivelyandinfluencecross functionally and cross-culturally

  • Independent and strategic thinking

  • Effective problem solving using creative solutions
